As the parts of the cow eye are similar to other mammals including the human eye, this course will be an interactive workshop allowing the participants to dissect the eye. This course begins with a slide presentation of a cow eye dissection and concludes with a hands-on, guided cow eye dissection.

Upon conclusion of this activity, attendees will be able to:
Have a better understanding of the structures of the eye
List the three layers of the eye
Label the parts of the eye
Discuss the functions of the parts of the eye
Explain some of the human eye conditions as each part is examined
List the components of the eye from outside to inside
