This course will review and discuss the basic physics, theory, clinical application, and the most common uses of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for the everyday, practicing optometrist. This course is intended to be an introductory course to MRI neuroimaging for optometrists who are wanting to get more comfortable ordering, reviewing/reading their own patients’ MRI scans. The presenter’s approach to MRI interpretation along with several real case examples are included to apply learned concepts.
