YAG laser capsulotomy is one of the most common and rewarding laser procedures. This lecture will review all aspects of YAG laser capsulotomy, including background of the procedure, indications, contraindications, pre-operative preparation, procedural techniques, post-operative management, coding and billing, along with showing many videos of different capsulotomy techniques. Also to be discussed with be managing laser complications from YAG capsulotomy among the many other intraocular laser procedures such as Laser PI, SLT, ALT, and ALPI.
