This course gives a comprehensive review of ocular health complications in traumatic brain injury including traumatic cranial nerve palsies (III, IV, V, VI, VII), TBI-related dry eye and retinal/optic nerve disorders. It will describe the signs, symptoms, and treatment for each condition

Upon conclusion of this activity, attendees will be able to:
Review the epidemiology and pathophysiology of blast and non-blast related traumatic brain injury
Identify the visual symptoms that can occur in traumatic brain injury
Briefly discuss vestibular-oculomotor sequelae in mild traumatic brain injury, and go into further depth into traumatic cranial nerve palsies – III, IV, V, VI, and VII as well as ocular health considerations for patients in optometric offices post-TBI
