This course will cover the indications for scleral lenses, the basics of scleral lens fitting, including initial lens selection with or without technology, application and removal, lens assessment and parameter modification, and some of the controversies that exist in the scleral lens field among fitters.

Review the basic concepts of pre-fit measurements
Learn initial lens selection for scleral lens fitting
Identify the components of an ideal lens fit and how to achieve them
Modify fits to manage post fit issues
Discuss controversies in scleral lens fitting and how to the impact fitting, lens wear, and lens care
